ADVERTISEMENT INVITATION TO BID NO. 25-101-1514 The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors for: Forsyth County Water Intake Contract B Tunnels, Shafts, and Intake Structure Forsyth County uses a procurement portal powered by Euna ("Bonfire") for accepting and evaluating bids, statements of qualification, and proposals digitally. Bids shall only be accepted online through Euna (Bonfire). Any proposal submitted in any other form (email, paper, fax, mail, etc.) will not be accepted for any reason. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Tidwell Park Boat Ramp (4898 Pilgrim Mill Road), immediately followed by a mandatory Site Visit from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the same location. A mandatory Core Sample Viewing will take place later that day from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Watson Tank site (4577 Watson Road, Cumming, GA 30028). Attendance at all three portions of this event is required. Participants must be signed in and present within five (5) minutes of the scheduled start time of the Pre-Bid Conference to be considered in attendance. Last day to ask questions via Euna (Bonfire) is December 1, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Bids are due by 2:00 P.M. (Local Time) on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:30 p.m. (Local Time) on December 18, 2025, at the Forsyth County Procurement Department, 514 W. Maple St., Suite 104, Cumming, GA 30040, or via Microsoft Teams. All bids must remain valid for a minimum of 90 days after the actual date of the opening. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond prepared on a provided form, duly executed by the bidder, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Award of the Bid will be made at a later date. Forsyth County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Bids may be split or awarded in their entirety.
